The Name
Beanquisite – a name that literally pours from my passion for coffee. “Bean” for the seed that it all begins with, and “Exquisite” for the love, care, and joy that goes into every cup.
Our Story
Beanquisite originates from the mountains of Yemen, the birthplace of coffee itself. For centuries, coffee plantations in Yemen have cultivated unique coffee species on mountain slopes, thanks to the influence of volcanic soil, altitude, and tradition.
I founded Beanquisite in Germany because Yemen coffee is a rare find in Europe, and most people have yet to discover its uniqueness. I wanted to share these tastes, stories, and traditions with coffee aficionados in Europe, so they could experience something new and unique.
We source directly from small-scale farming communities, establishing relationships based on trust, respect, and care – not mass market. Every coffee bean is carefully selected, treated with respect, and loved from farm to roast.
Our Craft
Roasting in Germany is done in small batches, with the same attention to detail that preserves the natural complexity of the coffee beans – the rich sweetness, floral, and multi-dimensional flavors that make Yemen coffee so unique.
